Kevin contacted me while he was planning their travel to Paris and... his surprise proposal to Thuy. The communication was a bit complicated as Kevin had to delete our emails to keep it secrete. He wanted to make it as soon as possible, the day they were landing to Paris. Although I understood perfectly this haste, I suggested to make it early in the morning the next day instead. He absolutely wanted to make his proposal in front of the Eiffel Tower but to avoid crowds of tourists, the best time to shoot there was absolutely before 8 AM. So Kevin had to champ at the bit one more day. 

We met at 7 AM at Trocadero place. It was quite chilly and Thuy seemed a bit jetlagged, sleepy and not very happy to have been dragged out of bed that early for a photoshoot. We started shooting like for a usual love story. With Kevin we were really nervous so when he felt ready he sent me the secrete signal, took the ring out of his pocket and put one knee on the ground....And yes, she said: "yes!".

What a relief for the photographer :)
